IL RUOLO DELL’INFERMIERE NELL’EMERGENZA DELL’IMMIGRAZIONE.

Abstract

Il fenomeno migratorio globale ha collocato l’Italia in una condizione di “emergenza strutturale”, esponendo persone migranti, richiedenti asilo e rifugiati a un complesso insieme di vulnerabilità cliniche e psicologiche riconducibili al triplice trauma – pre-migratorio, del viaggio e post-migratorio. In questo scenario, l’Infermiere si configura come agente di equità e promotore di salute, chiamato, in virtù del mandato etico sancito dall’Art. 7 del Codice Deontologico, a contribuire alla riduzione delle disuguaglianze sanitarie. La tesi supera l’approccio meramente descrittivo e propone un’analisi critica ed evidence-informed delle competenze avanzate richieste agli infermieri che operano in contesti ad elevata complessità assistenziale.

The global migration phenomenon has placed Italy in a state of "structural emergency," exposing migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees to a complex set of clinical and psychological vulnerabilities attributable to the triple trauma—pre-migration, travel, and post-migration. In this context, nurses emerge as agents of equity and health promoters, called upon, by virtue of the ethical mandate established in Article 7 of the Code of Ethics, to contribute to the reduction of health inequalities. This thesis transcends a merely descriptive approach and offers a critical and evidence-informed analysis of the advanced skills required of nurses working in highly complex healthcare settings.
