“LO SVILUPPO DELL’AUTOREGOLAZIONE NEL BAMBINO E IL RUOLO DELL’ADULTO”

Abstract

Questa tesi tratta tematiche quali l’acquisizione della capacità di autoregolazione, lo sviluppo delle funzioni esecutive e dell’abilità di inibizione da parte del bambino in stretta correlazione al ruolo attivo ricoperto dalle figure dei caregivers in ogni suo ambito di crescita ed è articolata in tre capitoli. Nel corso del primo capitolo vengono trattate e approfondite le informazioni inerenti al tema dello sviluppo delle capacità umane di autoregolazione, dell’abilità di inibizione e delle funzioni esecutive. Nel secondo capitolo viene presentato e approfondito il ruolo ricoperto dall’adulto nel percorso di sviluppo del bambino e si procede, perciò, ad evidenziare quanto tale figura collabori attivamente a influenzarne la crescita. Nel terzo capitolo, infine, verranno presentati alcuni risultati ottenuti attraverso la partecipazione a una revisione sistematica della letteratura, che è stata condotta al fine di indagare il ruolo dei rimandi forniti dal contesto sulle capacità inibitorie dei bambini. L’obiettivo principale della Tesi di Laurea qui in oggetto, avente come titolo “Lo Sviluppo dell’Autoregolazione nel Bambino e il Ruolo dell’Adulto”, consiste nell’indagare in che modo lo sviluppo della capacità di autoregolazione propria del bambino sia influenzato dalla presenza dell’adulto durante la sua crescita.

This thesis deals with issues such as the acquisition of the capacity for self-regulation, the development of executive functions and the ability of inhibition on the part of the child in close correlation to the active role played by the figures of caregivers in all its areas of growth and is divided into three chapters. In the course of the first chapter, information inherent to the topic of development of human capacities for self-regulation, inhibition ability and executive functions is covered and studied in depth. In the second chapter, the role played by the adult in the development path of the child is presented and explored in depth and we proceed, therefore, to highlight how much this figure actively collaborates to influence his growth. Finally, in the third chapter, some results obtained through participation in a systematic literature review will be presented, which was conducted in order to investigate the role of the references provided by the context on children's inhibitory abilities. The main objective of the Degree Thesis here in question, having as its title “The Development of Self-regulation in the Child and the Role of the Adult”, consists in investigating how the development of the child's own capacity for self-regulation is influenced by the presence of the adult during its growth.
