Un’analisi dei bisogni dei minori in un contesto di periferia. Un'indagine qualitativa nel quartiere genovese di Sampierdarena.

Abstract

Il presente lavoro conduce un'indagine sui bisogni dei minori in un contesto di periferia come quello del quartiere genovese di Sampierdarena. Il primo capitolo della tesi presenta l'evoluzione storica dei servizi sociali in Italia e in che modo la tutela dei diritti dei minori trovi spazio all'interno della professione dell'assistente sociale. Il secondo capitolo analizza il quartiere di Sampierdarena, trattando le fasi storiche principali, tracciando una mappatura dei servizi presenti sul territorio e un'analisi dei bisogni dei suoi abitanti. Il terzo capitolo esamina la situazione attuale delle periferie italiane e di ciò che le caratterizzano in quanto tali, facendo riferimento ai problemi, alle necessità emergenti e alla presenza di servizi per i minori in queste aree marginali della città, con particolare riferimento al quartiere di Sampierdarena. L'ultimo capitolo offre un'indagine qualitativa del quartiere con interviste effettuate sul territorio, attraverso questo strumento si analizzano le informazioni date dai soggetti per individuare i problemi e i bisogni dei minori e delle loro famiglie, ma anche le possibili soluzioni da mettere in atto per rispondere alle loro domande.

This paper investigates the needs of children in a suburban context such as the Sampierdarena, district of Genoa. The first chapter of the thesis presents the historical evolution of social services in Italy and how the protection of the child's rights finds space within the profession of social worker. The second chapter analyzes the district of Sampierdarena, dealing with the main historical phases, tracing a mapping of the services present on the territory and an analysis of the needs of its inhabitants. The third chapter examines the current situation of the Italian suburbs and what characterizes them as such, referring to the problems, emerging needs and the presence of services for minors in these marginal areas of the city, with particular reference to the district of Sampierdarena. The last chapter offers a qualitative survey of the neighborhood with interviews carried out on the territory, through this tool we analyze the information given by the subjects to identify the problems and needs of minors and their families, but also the possible solutions to be put in place to meet their needs.
