Amado e il "romanzo proletario": Jubiabá.

Abstract

Questa tesi è basata sul romanzo Jubiabá dello scrittore Jorge Amado, pubblicato nel 1935. Dopo una breve rassegna della vita dello scrittore e delle sue opere letterarie e un’analisi del fenomeno del Regionalismo Letterario negli anni in cui fu scritto il romanzo, ho realizzato un’analisi del testo ponendo l'accento sui fattori che hanno contribuito alla scrittura di Jubiabá, in ambito politico, economico e ideologico. Successivamente, ho analizzato brevemente le forme narrative e l’impatto che ebbe l’opera nella critica di allora. Infine, ho realizzato un’analisi delle principali tematiche che troviamo nel romanzo, quelle più evidenti, e che sono un costante nei romanzi di Jorge Amado. This thesis is based on the novel Jubiabá by writer Jorge Amado, published in 1935. After a brief review of the writer's life and his literary works and an analysis of the phenomenon of Literary Regionalism in the years in which the novel was written, I carried out an analysis of the novel with an emphasis on the factors that contributed to the writing of Jubiabá, in the political, economic and ideological spheres. Next, I briefly analyzed the narrative forms and the impact the novel had in critics at the time. Finally, I made an analysis of the main themes that we find in the novel, those that are most obvious, and that are a constant in Jorge Amado's novels.
