Gli Uffici di Sanità a Varazze nel XVIII Secolo

Abstract

La tesi affronta lo studio degli Uffici di Sanità nel XVIII secolo. Nei primi due capitoli, tratta lo sviluppo di questa istituzione. Dai suoi primi passi, all’incremento e al definirsi delle sue funzioni e mansioni nei vari Stati dell’Italia settentrionale. Nel terzo capitolo si concentra sull’organizzazione dell’ufficio di Sanità di Genova, sulla sua struttura burocratica e della sua rete epistolare, per informarsi, ed informare le comunità nel suo dominio. Il quarto capitolo tratta dell’ufficio di Sanità della comunità di Varazze nel XVIII secolo. I requisiti per diventare ufficiali e deputati alle cariche per la sanità pubblica e come venivano eletti. Il quinto capitolo si occupa del ruolo degli uffici di Sanità in seguito alla caduta della repubblica aristocratica di Genova ed il subentrare della prima repubblica Ligure. Questo lavoro è stato svolto avvalendomi anche delle risorse dell’archivio storico della Città di Varazze, come il libro degli Ufficiali di Sanità ed Il libro delle Delibere.

This work focuses on Sanitation offices in the 18th century. In the first two chapters, I discuss the development of this institutions. Since their foundation to the growth and definition of their functions and tasks in the States of northern Italy. In the third chapter, I focus by the organization of the Genoa Sanitation office, the structure and the task of the members, and the epistolary network with other Sanitation Office: to inform itself, and inform the communities in Genoa’s territory. The fourth chapter, I focus with the Varazze’s Sanitation office in the 18th century. The requirements for becoming officers and deputies to public health and how they were elected. The fifth chapter deals the Sanitation offices change from the fall of the Aristocratic Republic of Genoa and the takeover of the first Ligurian republic. This work was done by making use the records of the Varazze ’s archives, such as the Sanitation Book.
