Il minore all'interno dell'istituto penale minorile

Abstract

L'obbiettivo di questa tesi è definire, come si deduce dal titolo, la figura del minore che entra in contatto con l’istituto penale minorile (IPM). Inizialmente viene definito l’IPM, la sua storia, la struttura e le funzioni, specificando i concetti di rieducazione e di reinserimento sociale. Nel secondo capitolo viene trattato il minore come adolescente deviante, esaminando le cause del perché egli commette reati. Concludendo, viene esaminata la figura professionale dell’assistente sociale che lavora all’interno dell’istituto penale minorile, il tipo di intervento che attua e le istituzioni e altri professionisti con cui entra in contatto che si occupano della giustizia minorile.

The objective of this thesis is to define, as anticipated by the title, the figure of the minor within the juvenile penal institution. First, this thesis defines the institution, its history, structure and functions, focusing on the concepts of reeducation and social reintegration. The second chapter deals with the prejudice of the minor as a deviant adolescent, examining the reasons why he commits crimes. Finally, the professional figure of the social worker operating within the juvenile penal institution is examined, the type of intervention they implement, and the institutions and other professionals involved with juvenile justice.
