Inserto culturale «Giorno Libri»

Abstract

L’elaborato ivi proposto è basato su un'accurata indagine riguardante l'inserto culturale chiamato «Giorno Libri». In una prima parte è stata svolta una ricerca basata su alcune indagini bibliografiche e catalogando alcune offerte del giornalismo nostrano, con un approfondimento sul giornale che presentò tale inserto, «Il Giorno». Una seconda sezione più sperimentale riguarda, invece, indagini sui contenuti svolta attraverso la lettura e il commento delle pubblicazioni. Pertanto, l'obiettivo principale è stato quello di riuscire a evidenziare e analizzare tutti gli elementi caratterizzanti di questo inserto e di come veniva presentato ai lettori: il numero di pubblicazione, la sua cadenza all'impaginazione, le firme e i contenuti. A questi sono stati aggiunti degli obiettivi secondari, riguardanti la pubblicazione di «Giorno Libri» datata 1976-1977 e alcune osservazioni sull’inserto «Natale Libri». La conclusione di questo elaborato è stata arricchita anche di un’appendice contenente le proposte dell’inserto in questione. Pertanto, il fine di questo progetto di tesi è quello di arricchire il panorama degli studi sulla stampa italiana degli anni Cinquanta e Sessanta.

This study is focused on the Italian culture news pull-out "Giorno Libri". In the first section, the work is based on some bibliographic researches and on cataloguing some Italian journalistic products, with an in-depth analysis about "Il Giorno", the newspaper that introduced this pullout. The second, more experimental section investigates the contents of "Giorno Libri" (1963-1966) by reading and commenting the publications. Therefore, the main aim of this research is to highlight and analyze all the features of this insert and show how it was presented to the readers: the number of its publications, its layout cadence, its signatures, and its contents. To this, some secondary objectives have been included, dealing with the 1976-1977 edition of "Giorno Libri" and the insert named "Natale Libri" and their relationship with the first edition (1963-1966). The conclusions of this paper were also enriched with an appendix containing the list of all the "Giorno Libri" publications mentioned and commented in this work.
