Progetto SLIPPS ed emotional safety for learning: un nuovo scenario di simulazione.

Abstract

Obiettivo primario della tesi è l'elaborazione di uno scenario di simulazione pratica che ha lo scopo di fornire agli studenti competenze relazionali utili ad affrontare le tensioni emotive che possono instaurarsi tra infermiere guida e studente durante il tirocinio clinico. E' stato creato il pacchetto formativo "Teacher Tool", composto da: scenario overview, teacher template, context description, debriefing sheet. Lo scenario è stato validato da un panel di esperti in ambito pedagogico e tecniche didattiche innovative del Corso di Laurea in Infermieristica dell'Università degli Studi di Genova. Lo scenario verrà simulato presso il SIMAV dell'Università degli Studi di Genova in data successiva alla discussione della tesi a causa dell'emergenza sanitaria Covid-19; verrà inoltre effettuata un'analisi qualitativa dei risultati emersi. Obiettivo secondario è la creazione di uno strumento di raccolta dati volto ad indagare le esperienze di distress emotivo vissuto dagli infermieri guida di tirocinio durante l'affiancamento degli studenti. Il questionario è stato proposto agli infermieri guida di tirocinio in occasione dell'offerta formativa, i quali hanno espresso pareri favorevoli sul suo possibile utilizzo. Il percorso di tesi realizzato mi ha permesso di raggiungere gli obiettivi che mi ero prefissata, salvo la messa in scena della simulazione, la quale verrà comunque attuata in data da destinarsi. Pertanto il progetto avrà un seguito e vedrà il mio coinvolgimento nella sua concretizzazione.

The primary objective of the thesis is the elaboration of a scenario of practical simulation that aims to provide students with relational skills useful to face the emotional tensions that can arise between guide nurses and students during the clinical internship. The training package "Teacher Tool" has been created, consisting of: scenario overview, teacher template, context description, debriefing sheet. The scenario has been validated by a panel of experts in pedagogical and innovative didactic techniques of the Degree in Nursing of the University of Genoa. The scenario will be simulated near the SIMAV of the University of Genoa in date successive to the argument of the thesis because of the emergency sanitary Covid-19; will moreover be carried out a qualitative analysis of the emerged results. Secondary objective is the creation of a data collection tool aimed at investigating the experiences of emotional distress experienced by nurses training guide during the mentoring of students. The questionnaire was proposed to the nurses as an apprenticeship guide on the occasion of the training offer, who expressed favourable opinions on its possible use. The course of thesis realized has allowed me to achieve the objectives that I had set myself, except for the staging of the simulation, which will be implemented anyway in date to be assigned. Therefore, the project will be followed up and my involvement will be reflected in its implementation.
