Motivare l'iperdiffusione delle fake news e delle terorie del complotto. Un'ipotesi integrativa.

Abstract

La tesi intende introdurre una personale ipotesi che, integrandosi con le già esistenti teorizzazioni, vada a completare l'insieme delle motivazioni che vengono date circa l'abnorme diffusione di informazioni e, più in generale, di contenuti non veritieri e fuorvianti che viziano l'attuale ecosistema mediatico digitale. L'auspicio è che l'ipotesi proposta sappia contemporaneamente porsi come la componente discriminante capace di risolvere l'enigma che la quantità esagerata di fake news e di teorie del complotto circolanti oggettivamente pone.

The thesis intends to introduce a personal hypothesis that, integrating with the existing theories, completes the set of motivations that are given about the abnormal diffusion of information and, more generally, of untrue and misleading contents that spoil the current digital media ecosystem. The hope is that the proposed hypothesis will simultaneously be able to act as the discriminating component capable of solving the enigma that the exaggerated quantity of fake news and conspiracy theories circulating objectively poses.
