Assistenza infermieristica al paziente sottoposto a CAR-T

Abstract

LA TERAPIA CAR-T NEL PAZIENTE ONCOEMATOLOGICO: IMPLICAZIONI DELLA FIGURA INFERMIERISTICA. La terapia CAR-T è un’innovazione oncologica avanzata che utilizza linfociti T prelevati dal paziente, modificati geneticamente per riconoscere e attaccare le cellule tumorali tramite un recettore chimerico (CAR). Questa tesi analizza i meccanismi d’azione, le indicazioni terapeutiche e le reazioni avverse della terapia, evidenziando l’importante ruolo dell’infermiere, fondamentale per la gestione delle complicanze, il monitoraggio continuo e il supporto emotivo ai pazienti. Le conclusioni sottolineano l’importanza di un approccio personalizzato e di un team multidisciplinare per ottimizzare i risultati, con l’infermiere in prima linea nel percorso terapeutico.

Cancer therapies in oncohematology patients: implications of nursing. CAR-T therapy is an advanced cancer innovation that uses genetically modified, patient-derived T cells to recognise and attack cancer cells via a chimeric receptor (CAR). This thesis analyzes the mechanisms of action, therapeutic indications and adverse reactions of therapy, highlighting the important role of the nurse, fundamental for the management of complications, continuous monitoring and emotional support to patients. The conclusions underline the importance of a personalised approach and a multidisciplinary team to optimise results, with the nurse at the forefront of the therapeutic path.
